In July, as we looked toward August, we anticipated a month full of activity!!! And so it was! Somedays I found myself just trying to "hang on" for the next thing, while other times I flowed freely from happening to happening. All in all it was a wonderful month of friends, celebration, harvest, planning, sharing and just being together!!! We culminated the month with a "mini-envisioning" meeting in which we revisited our reason for being here and looked indepth at why and how we can effectively continue to minister to the children of New Hope Uganda. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy. My computer is not allowing me to see the pics, though so I hope I put the proper captions on the right pictures!!!!
Toby and Joel harvesting maize by beating it off the cob, while Medie, Acacia, Kevin and Geoff bag it for taking to the mill.

holiday means a lot more visits from friends!!!
I spent a great deal of time planning school for this next term and everytime I snuck away to plan, the kids followed me . . . they LOVE to read!
The kids will read anytime, anywhere!!!
Kakulu enjoyed that his brothers and sisters from David Family were around more during the holiday, they took him on many walks . . . he and Bubbly greet each other when they walk by the house.
Ronald came over almost every afternoon of the holiday to play the guitar.
